Private Session Testimonials
“As a Physical Therapist and Anatomist, I know of the evidence that exists that supports the use of yoga, and have recommended it for my patients with chronic low back pain and age associated changes in the musculoskeletal system. However, as an active, health-conscience consumer, I was reluctant to try yoga. After my first private session with Adrian, I was pleasantly surprised to find how wonderful Vinyasa Flow yoga has made me feel. I have been impressed with Adrian’s understanding of the musculoskeletal system, her ability to adapt positions or movements for the student in need and her innate ability to know when to continue or to modify each private session based on individual student responses. Adrian's private sessions are always very soothing yet motivating. I now recommend Adrian's classes to anyone and regret that it took me so long to consider making yoga a part of my exercise routine.”
- Corrie Mancinelli, PT, PhD
“As the mother of twin three-year-olds, it can be difficult to find moments of peace and tranquility in each day. I look forward to my sessions with Adrian not only because they offer time for me, but also because she helps me to incorporate the lessons of my yoga practice into my daily life. After practicing yoga for years, with an assortment of teachers, I can say that Adrian is one of the most gifted and caring instructors that I have ever had. Six months ago I began taking private sessions with Adrian because of a problematic sacroiliac joint. Through her careful instructions and positive support, I have rediscovered poses that I no longer thought I would be able to do and my physical practice has continued to grow and develop. But Adrian's gifts as a teacher go way beyond her expert technical instruction. Adrian is a wonderful teacher, and her compassion, enthusiasm, dedication, and love of yoga are present in every moment of our practice. She encourages me to challenge myself in my physical and spiritual practice and to progress to levels that I never thought possible. Adrian brings together that elemental connection between body and soul in a way that continues to challenge and inspire me both during our private sessions and in the rest of my life.”

“I am a professional Mauy-Thai kickboxer, and a long-time practicioner of martial arts. I have gone to yoga classes for several years, but no one has been as helpful to me in improving my practice as Adrian. Private sessions with Adrian are fantastic, because she is able to devote additional time for one-on-one instruction, showing me how I can improve my poses. She corrects me without making me feel incapable, always providing positive feedback and encouragement. Adrian has really helped me learn to focus, which has been a huge advantage to me in the ring. As a fighter, I need to be able to shut out all distractions and concentrate on my opponent, and Adrian has helped me improve greatly in this area. I would encourage everyone to join her classes, and schedule a private session if you can.”
- Tom Dixon
“I was recently introduced to the practice of yoga, because I wanted to find a form of exercise that incorporated mind/body/spirit and that’s what yoga has become for me. Adrian is both inviting and supportive as an instructor. I left my first session with Adrian both invigorated, exhausted, and at peace. The whole atmosphere at the studio was supportive. It was great to try something new, yet not feel out of place. My intention is to continue with yoga to keep balance in my life. I often suggest to my family, friends and students to try yoga if they’re feeling stress or anxiety in their life because it has made such a difference in mine.”
